Now, I’ve been paddling slalom for one year!  Oh, yeah — the Olympics, here I come!

My first nationally competitive year of slalom, the sport took me to places such as Chile, Alberta, Calgary, Minnesota, Indiana, Wisconsin, Colorado, Washington D.C., and Idaho.

Highlights:

· Pan American games — represented USA.

· First Class V run — Cherry Creek on the Tuolumne River.

· Training in Pucon, Chile with Coach Tom Long.

· Memorable FRPA Summer Camp—thanks, Coach Chris Wiegand!

· First experience of paddling in the east — my hair froze and stuck to my helmet on the Potomac!  Brrrr….
